We belong together
This mural, We Belong Together, was commissioned by the Houston Hobby International Airport in 2019. It can be seen at the Arrivals, Passenger Pick Up Area. For this mural, I took photographs of people in an embrace and put them together in the composition seen here. It's a gesture that we take part in at the airport over and again. We hug our loved ones to say goodbye and when we see them again. It's an action that expresses the pain of separation as well as the joy of reunion.
